Automatic Overhead Crane Rumal

Automatic crane for handling shredded rubber tyres. Location Nederweert, owner Rumal, crane designed and manufactured by Norden Lifting Equipment bv.

This crane automatically moves material from one bunker to another or into the factory hopper. Crane is equipped with two laser line scanners to create a 3D profile of bunkers and material. A Siemens PLC is included to control crane and handle scanner data. The crane is operated from a central control room, using a Siemens touchscreen.
